Dr. Bolton currently serves as Divisional Vice President of R&D for Abbott Hematology. Previously Dr. Bolton served as Vice President for the Institute for Immunology Research. He was founder and President & CEO of ImmunoSite Technologies, LLC (IST). Prior to founding IST, and as Vice President of Beckman Coulter. Key accomplishments include introduction of new instrumentation and IVD reagents that supported record growth rates for the corporation and establishing a global account management – custom biopharma division to provide comprehensive instrumentation and reagent solutions for the pharmaceutical industry.

Dr. Bolton managed and coordinated multiple sites across the US as well as internationally to conduct research, design, validation and verification of in vitro diagnostic products in hematology and flow cytometry, and products for medical research.

Dr. Massimo Napolitano is a vascular surgeon in Hackensack, New Jersey and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Englewood Hospital and Medical Center and Hackensack University Medical Center. He received his medical degree from University of Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and has been in practice for more than 20 years. He is one of 13 doctors at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center and one of 10 at Hackensack University Medical Center who specialize in Vascular Surgery. He also speaks multiple languages, including Italian.

He had been involved in clinical research as an investigator, had conducted clinical trials for various international pharmaceutical companies.

Dr. Igor Križaj (1963) accomplished his doctoral studies at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, and at the Imperial College of London, UK. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute Pasteur in Paris. He is heading the Department of Molecular and Biomedical Sciences (http://www-b2.ijs.si/) at the Jožef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana since 2007. He is also a full Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Ljubljana. His major research interests are toxinology of animal venoms, with emphasis on toxins acting on haemostasis and nerve system, pathophysiological roles of secreted phospholipases A2, proteomics and protein structure-function relationships. So far, he published 144 research papers in SCI journals and several chapters in scientific monographs. He headed 28 research projects and supervised theses of 64 students on different levels. He received several national and international awards for his scientific achievements. He served as a Secretary of the European Section of the International Society on Toxinology (IST) and a Member of the IST Council in the period 2004 – 2012. He is an editorial board member at several international scientific journals.

JJ Michiels serves as consultant professor in Hematology and Bloodcoagulation, Comenius University, Bratislava, Slovakia; consultant to the Dutch Society of Internal Medicine and Ministery of Public Health; consultant of quality driven Industrial and Pharmaceutical Medicine; as an editor of 2 Medical Journals and as a guest editor on request and by self-initiation.
